Muscat: The Ministry of Education (MoE) has issued guidelines to all Omani students wishing to continue their studies outside the Sultanate of Oman, to ensure that they enroll in recognized educational institutions, specializations and approved study systems.

The Ministry stipulated that to register in higher education institutions, they must be one of the institutions recognized by it and in accredited programs and specializations, with the possibility of viewing the lists of these institutions through their website, in addition to the need to obtain prior approval from the Ministry to submit a request for 'Continue Studying' through the website before enrolling in the study, and after obtaining the acceptance letter from the educational institution.

MoE also stressed the importance of avoiding dealing with unlicensed entities or intermediaries, urging students to communicate directly with educational institutions or the Office of Higher Education Services officially licensed by the MoE to ensure their rights and the validity of their study procedures.
